The purpose of Guideline on Institutional Arrangement (GIA) is to provide institutional structure for bamboo sector development by linking grassroot farmers, business entrepreneurs and policy makers. The functions of GIA are:
- Identify the key institution and agency for bamboo sector development
- Provide their potential/possible roles and responsibilities
- Determine linkages between the institutions and agencies
